SHORT seminars can be tailor made to the church or mission team needs. Seminars can be brought on site to the church or mission location if requested Through out the year MissionPREP has SHORT seminars and several prearranged dates are given above. The SHORT seminar is designed for the short-term Christian seeking to serve overseas for less than 12 months. Topics include:

• Perceptions, Ethnocentrism, Stereotypes
• Models of understanding culture
• Comparing values across cultures
• Mapping a new culture – culture shock
• The gospel in context

PERSONAL & INTERPERSONAL

• Understanding your personality type & how it impacts interpersonal relationships
• Stages of cross-cultural transition and stressors
• Dynamics of positive team building experiences
• Approaches to conflict resolution

A typical SHORT one-day seminar begins with registration at 8:30 followed by class from
