MissionPREP’s Kids Programs make cross-cultural training a family affair. While parents are participating in training sessions, MissionPREP has something special for the children.

The programs for children are interactive and varied providing opportunities to learn about God, self, and others. Our desire is that each child will feel better prepared for moving abroad. We want to help the children gain a bigger perspective of the all-sufficiency of God to meet their unique needs as they move to a new country. MissionPREP helps prepare families for cross-cultural transitions, paving the way for successful cross-cultural ministries for whole families.

The two-week program of fun and learning includes exciting activities such as:

• Playing games from other countries
• Making crafts from other countries
• Exploring Scripture together
• Eating new food
• Making new friends
• Learning about culture through field trips
• Watching videos that develop cross-cultural awareness

The children will explore such topics as:

• How to prepare for change
• What is culture
• How to make friends in a new culture
• Learning about a new language
• Appreciating cultural differences
• Building a relationship with God, our security in the midst of change.
